Swine flu affected first Oriya from Pune died

The outbreak of swine flu has terrorized humans multiple times than that of swine.Although undetected, but several cases has been admitted in Orissa hospital for this deadly disease.The first attack of swine flu was on a oriyaman from Pune.The person has been identified as Ganesh Nayak, from the district Ganjam of Orissa.

The situation turned out very pathetic when the villagers didn’t allow the dead body to enter the village.The dead body was brought in a specially protected ambulance from Pune by road.The swine flu affected person was working in a timber mill in Pune.

Till now not a single case has been reported to contain H1N1 virus ,although several suspected persons had been admitted in hospitals.Naveen Pattnaik has asked center to send sufficient masks and medicines to fight with the terror.He has also appealed to establish a testing center at RMRC, Bhubaneswar .

  1. Thats a very good step taken by Mr, Naveen Pattnaik for appealing for a esatablished testing centre in Bhubaneswar.

    It will also be great if he there will be authorities who can go to individuals house a get the samples instead of infected person coming to the hospital or testing centre as this can be a cause of the spread of the dreadly virus.
