Senior IAS officer Jagadanada Panda and his family were shot dead on friday morning, the mystery behind which hasn’t yet solved.The heinous incident occurred in the Deogarh village in the Bargarh district at around 2 pm on friday morning which was the victim’s village.

Jagadananda Panda was the protector of Emigrants in the ministry of oversees Indaian affairs.His father, wife and two sisters are shot dead, while his son has been admitted in vss medical hospital in critical condition.As reported by the Bargarh Sp, the door inside which all the dead bodies were found, was locked from inside.So it may be the act of any member of the family.But Police is on its way trying to solve the case considering other options wide open.

Some days back, the senior bureaucrat has got a raid of CBI for an allegation against the officer. It may be the reason behind the case. But the investigation is still open to get into the case, reports  Police official.

Naxalites have once again shown their terror  in Keonjhar district of Orissa.It has been reported that , in an attack in railway station, naxalites have kidnapped 11 workers on saturday.Police has not yet reached the victimized area.

The target was Sagadapata railway station of Harichandanpur block, which is 45 kms away from Keonjhar.The naxalites lashed out the place in the evening , and attacked with their armouries. After disrupting the things of the station, they kidnapped 11 workers including the station master.

Police hasnot taken any step to detect the place where naxalites might have taken the persons.”The incidence has been done by some local criminals of Keonjhar.It is not an act of naxalites”, said Asit Panigrahi, S.P, Police.

The villagers are in chaos after the incident.

A young Indian woman trying to expose the migration and education scams in Australia has been threatened and attacked.

The woman, reporter of ABC TV, was working for a program ‘Four Corners’ for which she got threatening all along the weekend.In the website, ABC has given an article regarding the spams going on in Australia detailing education matters.For revealing the issue, the reporter went to two different migration agents acting as a customer who wanted to pass the English Language test without having the eligibility and told them to buy a fake work certificate.

There are quite a number of colleges in Australia mentioned in Four corners program who are into this type of cheating activity.Many Indians have even reported for this type of issue.But, till now no care has been taken in this case.

Maoists are making their presence in all over the state.It is Similial wildlife sanctuary in Nuapada which has been targeted again by the red brigade on Saturday afternoon.

It has been reported that 20 armed maoists attacked the office of Similipal sanctuary and took away all the documents and other equipments found there.At the time of terror, no officials are present on the sot. Hence, no casualities has been found.

The police guess that the maoists have come from Chhatisgarh district as they were communicating in Hindi, that too in the local language of the neighboring state among them.The 20 armed terrorists has boarded two tractors to reach the place.

Nuapada has been attacked before on June 22.The previous attack was severe as the maoists had blown a forest house here.40-50 maoists including women had attacked last time injuring a forest guard severely.

Orissa police arrested Ex-education minister of state and BJP leader Samir Dey in allegation of a Ice -trader.The committee of vendor zone has threatened Orissa police for arresting the minister,failing which they would have gone for strike.

The minister was arrested by Police and released within no time in bail.The allegation against the ex-minister has not yet been reported.

Rape tainted the hero turned gangster to stay at jail as he couldn’t get the bail for the alleged case.A  session court in Mumbai on Wednesday  rejected his bail application, after arguments posed by the prosecution and defence counsel concluded yesterday. The actor will now continue to remain in judicial custody till July 16.

This order from the court comes after repeated demands were made by the prosecution for some more time to investigate the case and gather evidence. The prosecution also said that the accused is capable of influencing the case and the witnesses, hence bail should not be granted to him.After the porder passed, the defence lawyer said that they will be taking the case to higher court.

The bollywood actor Shiney Ahuja was arrested from his home Oshiwara in the charge of accusing rape to his 20 yr old home maid on June 15.

The missing MLA of Orissa Ramesh Rout came back on saturday and reported before Orissa speaker Pradeep Amat.It was a huge relief not only for government but also for Police offcials who were on their duty to solve the case.

The missing complaint of Mr. Rout was reported before the Athagarh police two days back by his father, Bhaskar Rout on Thursday.Rout was missing from June 21 , the day when he filed his resignation before the speaker of Orissa.A conflict arised at the time of filing the resignation due to the missing of the person and occurrence of two different resignation letters at the same time.Hence, the case was in abeyance.

“Some BJD leaders of Athagarh put mounting pressure on me to resign from MLA post. So I had tendered my resignation to Speaker under duress”, Rout told media persons.” But today, I met and withdraw the resignation before speaker”.

The MLA mentioned the name of Raja babu who threatened him to do so before the speaker during their meetin which continued for more than two hours.”He has mentioned the name of Raja babu”, reported Pradeep Amat before media. Raja is the nick name of Ranendra Pratap Swan, the BD MLA of Athagarh.Swain’s name had initially cropped up when Rout while tendering his resignation letter to Amat on June 20, informed that he stepped down to see Swain enter Assembly n by-election as he is a better and capable leader comparatively.

And Swain says that he is no way connected with the entire issue.His name is dragged intentionally to defame him.

Whatever the case is, it will take some time to come to lime light. Meanwhile Ramesh Rout will remain as the legislator of Athagarh,Orissa.

Maoists has stepped one path forward in this one month, threatning the Government and citizens of Orissa.This time they have crossed the limit with loooting the bank at Machhakund, Koraput.Maoists has attacked the State bank of India(SBI) on friday night around 11 pm.As per the police officials , they have theft 6 lakhs 30 thousand rupees.In the last month, this is the second violence by Maoists in Machhakund.Maoists has bombarded on the police station of the area on 7th of this month.

Nearly at 11 in the night, around 50 armed  maoists entered the village . First , they tortured some of the villagers to enquire about the whereabouts of the officials of SBI.Maoists entered the home of K.V.R. murty, manager SBI, Binayak Behera, cashier, and T Krishna, an employee and forced them to open the bank.Aferlooting money, maoists forced the bank officials to open the gold vault.But as the key wasn’t with them, the maoists left the place.As a precaution from police attack, the maoists had put heavy logs in the road of Machhakund-lamtapat, Machhakund-Jalaput.They took away 10 mobiles of the near people before leaving the place.Police reached there in the morning and started their investigation.Although, the right amount of money hasn’t yet detected, but the estimation is around 6 lakhs and 30 thousand.

After this two serious attack by moists on this particular place, Government should make the place more tight in security, which hasn’t been done yet.

The suicide of two lovers near the Lingaraj station overbridge has made the news among the people of Bhubaneswar.The identity of these two lovers has not yet been found.The age of the boy is expected to be 25.The boy was in his jeans, and police has recovered two sims, money and a shopping chit.The girl was wearing a salwar suit of yellow colour.The body of both the couples were found in an injured condition.The presence of vermillion in the forehead of the girl proves that both are newly married couple.The people there found the body today in front of the train.The exact reason behind the heinous act has not yet been found.

The bus was hijacked near Gumphakonda Chowk, about 50kms away from Malkanigiri, by the villagers.According to the report of Police, the bus was on its way to Jeypore from MV 88.The villagers forced the driver to move from the bus and took the bus away about 20 km from Gumphakonda Chowk.

Satyabrata Bhoi, SP of Malkanagiri reported, “Three bus employees are in arrest of the hijackers.The bus owner had been called for a talk with the villagers.We are keeping a watch in the situation.”
