Orissa Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today appealed the anti-corruption crusader Anna Hazare to break his fast. ,” Mr. Patnaik told reporters. The Chief Minister Said,” party (BJD) would like a strong Lokpal to be in place to fight corruption. My government
had been fighting against corruption in the State level” added the CM.
“I appeal Sri Anna Hazare ji to break the fast now.Mr. Patnaik said Anna Hazare’s agitation would help to eradicate the menace. Meanwhile, protests in different parts of the State continued their fast, sit-in supporting Hazare’s campaign. His health is a great concern for all of us People from different walks of life in Orissa in support of the Anna Hazare’s movement against corruption. Students, artists, writers, intellectuals and lawyers besides activists of ‘India against Corruption’ took out rallies and staged dharnas in different places.

The media has covered successfully about the protest of social activist Anna Hazare and yoga guru Baba Ramdev. The newspapers have also done their work by publishing everyday at the front. The whole country also support them firmly. At the same time we are unaware of a person, who had been protesting not for one or two days but for long four months. He was completely under shadow. The media knows him after his death, newspapers are also publishing his death news. But the whole country was totally unaware of his protest at the time of protesting. The 34 year old Swami Nigamananda was protesting for the illegal mining at the bank of holy Ganga river. He had started his journey from 19th Feb. at Hardwar and was admitted on 27th April due to his deterioration in health condition. But instead of overcome, he was in coma. At last he had been treated in Himalayan Hospital and he passed away yesterday. As per the information Baba Ramdev was also admitted in that Hospital too. Ramdev was solicited by politicians and spiritual leaders, but Swami Nigamananda was just waiting for his death to come at that time. He took his last breath when Ramdev was there in the Hospital. Congress blamed the Uttarakhand government for this. It alleged that the government ignored him and a tlast killed him.

Ramdev Quits his Fast; Not against Corruption

At last Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev quit his 9days hunger-strike against corruption.He has broken it by having fruit juice at Dehradun Hospital. Many spiritual leaders were present at that time.He said that he just quit the fast not the Satyagrah against corruption. As per the information he ended it as per the request of spiritual leader Sri Sri Ravishankar. But he will be at the Hospital for 2 or 3 days for his weakness. On the other hand his aide Acharya Balkrishna said that he had ended the fast by respecting the requests of his fellow beings. He also quit his fast. Sri Sri Ravishankar also pleased up on Ramdev as he stood up on his request. Acharya Balkrishna also thanked the media for it’s support. Answering to a question he said that who won or who lost that did not matter. The main aim was to awake the Indians up against corruption. According to the medical authority he will be fine soon.

Yoga Guru Ramdev was on Friday admitted to intensive care unit(ICU) in a hospital in Dehradun when his health deteriorated on the seventh day of his fast.Doctors said his condition was “stable” after he was administered glucose.Dr Deepak Goyal from Jolly Grant Hospital clarified that the yoga guru has not taken any food orally so far. “He is being given a drip of saline glucose and vitamins. He has not taken any food orally,”Goyal added.Doctors said yesterday, a week after she suffered spinal injuries during police action against yoga guru Baba Ramdev in New Delhi.Doctors said the neurological status of Bala remains unchanged and she is quadriplegic. The doctors have done decompression and fixation using plate, screw and cage.Sri Sri Ravishankar, founder of The Art of Living, said his condition was “very critical in the morning and now there is improvement in his health (after his hospitalization). I talked to him and requested him to stop the agitation.”The doctors attending on him had sent in a recommendation for his hospitalisation on “priority basis” as they had found him suffering from dehydration and had advised him to break his fast, which was rejected by the yoga exponent.

Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev whose protest against corruption was crushed by police threatened the government to fight with an armed force.Ramdev, whose popularity stems from his daily yoga shows on television, called for men and women to join his “army”.After his eviction from Delhi and he returned to the ashram in Hardwar.Baba Ramdev had announced that he was resuming his indefinite hunger-strike against black money and corruption.Baba Ramdev will raise an army of 11,000 men and women who will be trained to attack if action is taken against them. On Saturday, Baba Ramdev had begun a hunger-strike at the Ramlila Maidan in Delhi. The Delhi Police, stating that he had permission only to hold a yoga camp but not to protest against government with over 50,000 people, had dismantled the camp, where 65,000 people had gathered before they were lathicharged and tear gassed.His spokesman said that the force would have weapons but would act only in self-defence. He said that Ramdev was determined to stand up to police if they again attacked him or his supporters.Baba said about his planning of making an armed force, “Twenty youth from each region will come forward for the fight against corruption. These young people should be 35-40 years old. Not only men, young women must also join them. They must be dedicated, ready to make the ultimate sacrifice. They will be given arms training. We will build an army of 11,000 men and women.”The government has banned the Baba from entering Delhi for the next 15 days.Now he faces the problem of where to set up a new base camp for his “satyagraha against corruption.”On the other hand social activist Anna Hazare, on Wednesday attracted thousands of people to a one-day demonstration in Delhi to protest against the police crackdown on Ramdev.

Mission Ramdev Fails; New Headache for Center

The Manmohan Singh government failed to mollify Baba Ramdev after a five hour marathon discussion.Both the parties have finished the discussion without any successful verdict.So yoga guru Ramdev is going to fast in Janata Maidan, Delhi as decided before.Ramdev is taking the step to clear up the country and make the country corruption less and he also wants to bring the black money back to the country deposited in foreign banks.But the center has not yet given up, it’s trying it’s luck.Union minister Kapil Sibal and Subodhkant Sahay also tried to mollify Ramdev but failed in their attempt.He declared to follow the footprints of “Bapuji” and protest from saturday.He said that corruption and corrupted persons did not belong to any cast or religion.They were just evils.They would be lynched.He also declares to fast till death.He added that he would fight till his last breath.He also said that he was not targeting any party or any individual.Indian Tax-Cheaters have about Rs. 400 lakh crore deposited in foreign banks.He said that he just wanted to bring this back to the country.

The center failed to mollify yoga guru Baba Ramdev .He is going to fast from 4th June.He said that his fast was to protest against corruption and the illegal funnelling of wealth abroad by the Indians.The PM has sent four ministers including the finance minister Pranab Muklharjee to stop him doing this.But Ramdev insists to protest.The incessant work of the ministers went to vane as Ramdev denied to the plea of the government saying that the steps taken to eradicate corruption from the country are not sufficient .He sticked to his words by saying that he is going to do the same as he has decided and declared to the country.

Jaipal Reddy ; To quit from the ministry

The petroleum minister Jaipal Reddy will resign from the cabinet ministry very soon.He has also declared, he will not going for the electoral fight for Loksabha in 2014.He will only concentrate on the state politics.He is eying on to go through it on the eve of Telangana.So he has decided to quit the cabinet ministry as soon as possible.The main reason behind this is Jaganmohan Reddy .He has changed the electoral equation in Andhra Pradesh by forming a new party and more over he has decided to enter in Telangana.So to strike him down Mr. Reddy decided to give a halt to his lower house career .He wants to lead the Congress from the front in Telangana.There must be other reason behind this, he was totally unaware of the petrol price hike.The government hiked the petrol price irrespective of the decision or suggestion of the petroleum minister.
