Even after being selected to receive award from chief minister Naveen Pattnaik by President’s selection, it was a shocking moment for Vinayatosh Mishra, DIG of fire service and homeguard Department, whose name was dropped out from the list of nominees who had been selected for President’s police award.

“I was been selected for the award , but I don’t know for what reason my name has been dropped out from the list.”, says highly dissatisfied Vinayatosh Mishra.

The police medals are accoloded to the list of police who have been selected by President of India. This time there were 26 police names in the list.Vinayatosh has also been intimated for the same.But his name wasn’t announced during the ceremony.He lodged a compliant before Chief Secretary Ajit Tripathy, but Chief Secretary denied to give any comment on the matter as he is not aware of anything.
