(O)JEE finished today with 85,000 aspirants.

Today the Joint Entrance Examination, 2009 was over and nearly 85,000 students appeared for the examination including both technical and non-technical courses.The examination was conducted in 163 centers.

It has been reported , the total number of students who had appeared for JEE- Engineering were 23,000, 22,500 for MBA and 10,300 for the seat of pharmacy. The total number of students for the seat of lateral entry were 6,500. Apart from, 130 centers, students also appeared for the exam at 33 centers at Delhi, Kolkata, Jamshedpur and Ranchi. Last year the number of JEE aspirants were 79,000.

The result was likely to be declared on the 10th of next month.
