India is excelling in every field may it be in sports, literature, business or technology.After entering into the world of most powerful person and leading the list now, India has occupied its ranking in most reputed list of companies.In terms of global revenue, it will take some time to get with our peers, but in terms of reputation we have left behind some of the grand companies like Microsoft, Google, Coco-cola, GE and Walt disney.
US based brand and reputation management consulting firm Reputation institute has evaluated five Indian companies to enter into the world’s 50 most reputed companies.Tata has lead the show with 11 th rank leaving behind all the companies mentioned above.Italy’s chocolate company Ferrero has topped the list while Sweden’s retailer IKEA, and Johnson & Johnson in USA has occupied the next two place. Indian companies SBI is in rank 29, Infosys occupies 39th position , Larsen & Tourbo in 47th place while Maruti Suzuki is in 49th position.
In a list of 600 companies, 22 other Indian companies has been positioned which shows the global acceptance of Indian companies.In the ranking USA has been in leading position with 17 companies in top 50 position and listing 70% of the total 600 listed companies.
The ranking has been determined on the basis of trust, admiration, honesty, and good feeling of the consumers towards their service.

In the 600 ranking , other companies which are on the list are- Hindustan Unilever(70th), ITC(96), Canara Bank(103), HPCL(112), Indian Oil(113), Wipro(117), Reliance Group(133), Mahindra & Mahindra(138), Bharti Airtel(164), Bank of Baroda(175), BPCL(176), Punjab National Bank(178).
