BJP on saturday repeated the scene after the hate speech acquisition of Varun Gandhi.
Ashok Sahu was imprisioned for delivering invoking speech at Kandhamal District.
After releasing of Varun Gandhi in bail , now it was Sahu’s turn.

Sahu, BJP’s candidate for Kandhamal Parliamentary seat, moved out of the subjail of
Kandhamal District at around 3 pm, after friday’s court order grantig him bail was
communicated to jail authorities.He was received by hundreds of activists infront
of the Jail gate who took him in a procession around the town.

BJP president Suresh Pujari announced “Sahu was booked under false charges to prevent
him from campaigning.As election dates are nearby , this will cause a hinderance to the
party.

The BJP leader was arrested on Tuesday, the last day of campaigning for the first phase
of polls, from Phulbani district on charges of inciting communal passions through a speech
 he had given at Raika on April 5.Sahu spent his time in the same prison where his Party’s
candidate for the G Udayagiri Assembly segment and prime accused in last year’s communal
riots Manoj Pradhan is lodged since October 2008.

Varun Gandhi from Philibit constituency, Ashok Sahu from Kandhamal, Dolagobinda Mohanta
from Sukinda constituency all shares a common property of being the candidate from the
opposite party in Government and their imprisoment proves the power of the ruling party,
whatever may be the reason.
