This time the iit exam results was much awaited by the students of Orissa. Not only the result hold the career of students but also this is the first time when students will get admitted into the iit institute opened at Orissa.

Almost 3,80,000 students had appeared this time for iit examination.The result announced the name of 1,88,000 in the rank list.Although only 3% of Orissa students could make into iit, but the result is fairer than the last year.

All the coaching institutes, like Akash, Narayana, Padhee has showed their happiness for the results of the students.”So far we have declared 82 results, out of which 8 are from general category, 15 from other and the rest from merit basis,” Ajay Bahadur, director of Akash Institute said.
