Bhubaneswar: In this year 2010 Raksha Bandhan “the day of sisters” fall on 24.08.2010.  In this day the sister tie Rakhi on the brother’s waist a thread of complete love and affection. Selling of Rakhi is started before 10-15 days before the day of calibration.

According to mythological on this day the Lord Subhadra tie Rakhi on the hand of Lord Balabhadra.

Best rakhi’s are chosen by sisters from rakhi shop for their brothers. It is the sweetest festival in India. Those brothers who are working far away from home, they haven’t fun on this occasion for the reason sisters are send rakhi via post.
