Rasmiranjan kidnapping and murder case today got a new clue. After the
arrest of Santosh Ray, the gangster from Bihar, the whole story came into
lime light.Today Santosh Ray was arrested by the Kolkata police and he said
the entire story during interrogation.
It was Haider behind the kidnapping and murder of Rasmiranjan Mohapatra,
industrialist from Keonjhar, Orissa.Haider has planned the kidnapping of
 Rasmiranjan while in the jail at Bolangir and Santosh Ray has accompliced him.
They kidnapped the industrialist on 27 May 2007 and demanded 2 crore rupees from
 their beloved ones.The captured Rasmiranjan was brought to Jharkhand , when their
 family gave 80 lakhs out of the demanded money.
Police launched a tough crackdown. Three of Santosh’s close aides Taslim Khan of
Orissa, Arshad of Jamshedpur and Rajesh of Ranchi were rounded up. All three are
 now cooling their heels in an Orissa jail. Santosh, however, always kept a step
 ahead of police.
 
It is really a shame for Orissa police that a criminal like Haider is operating
such cases even from jail without hesitance.
