Success of Prithvi-2

Today(15th April) there has been successful experiment of Prithvi-2 missile from the security department of Chandipur, Balasore at LC-3 of ITR hill.The missile holds a capacity of carrying 500 kg of armories to a distance of 350 km inside the foe’s area.
It is 8.5 m in length with a diameter of 4.4 m.It has been experimented last on 23 May 2008.All the senior scientists were present today during the experimentation.
Prithvi is the first ballistic missile made under the supervision of India’s own technology.In between two of this Prithvi range missile has been approved by the Infantry and air army of India.
